We will seek out co-design opportunities and to be accountable for our work with Māori.

Assisting our liaison with Manawhenua in other regions (we are currently in discussions with Ngāti Kahungunu and Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei) and Māori medium providers as we roll out a nationwide Ministry of Education contract for ENGAGE.

Supporting the provision of routine training across the Mission in te reo me ōna tikanga, particularly in the Kai Tahu context (we have some online resource provided by Serena in our HR system, but in person top ups are always good) (again, they don’t have to do it – although they can if they want – but help us locate and implement)
