He Raranga Muka – Data Analytics Scholarships Now Open

Are you a student studying in the data science field, and in your second year of tertiary study (or higher) in 2026? Do you see data as a tool to help advance the aspirations of your iwi? He Raranga Muka – Data Analytics Scholarships are now open through Te Kāhui Raraunga for the 2026 Academic Year.

He Raranga Muka Scholarships were created to grow Māori voices and perspectives within data science. The kaupapa aims to support the next generation of iwi Māori data scientists to weave their pūkenga raraunga together with their Māoritanga—creating new opportunities for themselves, their whānau, hapū and iwi.

Māraurautanga | Eligibility:

• Be studying in their 2nd year or above in the data science field (or other relevant degree) at a registered tertiary institution in the 2026 academic year.

•  Whakapapa Māori

•  Be endorsed by their iwi

•  Provide two references (personal, academic, or professional)
